Dr Nakkiran graduated from Penang international dental college as a general dental practitioner in 2014 with a Bachelor of dental surgery(BDS) title.
After graduating, he served with the government for slightly over a year in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. During that period, he was also attached at specialist departments such as OMFS, paediatric dental department, and periodontics in Taiping Hospital.
He then joined the private sector in a private clinic in Penang for over a year before joining Fernandez and Peter dental clinic in petaling jaya, Selangor, serving as an associate dentist for 6 years.
In august 2023, with the dream of one day be able to embrace the Sabahan life and culture, he made the decision to move to sabah and join dr Natasha’s dental practice.
Dr Nakkiran has completed various specialist certificate programmes in implants, endodontics, and orthodontics. With an acute eye for details, his interest lies in endodontics(root canal treatment) and dental implants. He hold on by the saying “do it once, do it right” to strive for perfection.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Nakkiran is an avid outdoor junkie, ranging from fishing, off road motorsports, camping and hiking. He also enjoys playing the bass guitar and occasionally performs along with bands in the local scene!
